SKYWORTH has been a major player in the South African tech market for almost a decade, wowing consumers with their cutting-edge technology and comprehensive product line, featuring OLED, Mini LED, QLED, 4K LED, and more. Now, they’ve taken things up a notch with their 2023 product launch lineup.

Last week, at their Megatech Global Tour Launch, the brand unveiled the largest 4K QLED Google TV in South Africa – the SUF958P, boasting an incredible 100″ infinite screen that promises an unparalleled viewing experience. The SUF958P takes picture quality to another level with QLED technology, offering vast colour depth and a high-contrast display. With Chameleon Extreme 3.0 and its 120Hz refresh rate at 4K, the visuals are simply stunning. Plus, the 2.1.2ch sound and Dolby Atmos deliver captivating audio with 3D object movement, making you feel like you’re right in the heart of the action and Flicker-Free technology means your eyes are protected from invisible flash and screen flash.

“We can say with confidence that our new products will not only bring excellent features, but will also offer an experience that will meet and exceed all customer expectations,” explained SKYWORTH South Africa GM, Ms Rita Mo.

In a first for SKYWORTH, they’ve teamed up with Design Works, a BMW Group Company, to create the exquisite BM series products, featuring an array of diverse technology home appliances. Luxurious BMW features the brand is known for have been seamlessly integrated into SKYWORTH products – from a stunning OLED TV that’s a true visual masterpiece, to a multi-door fridge that brings with it both elegance and functionality, and two powerful washing machines: the BM58 & BM55.

The launch included a wide range of home appliances too: Experience the ultimate convenience with extra-large capacity multi-door refrigerators and table fridges, keeping your drinks chilled during those intense game-watching sessions. And the variable frequency direct-drive washing machine ensures a hassle-free cleaning experience.

Their new audio system, when paired with the TV, provides an immersive surround sound experience that creates an unmatched ambiance. Even when used independently, it still delivers an exceptional audio experience.

Last, but certainly not least, in their 2023 product lineup is their 24” Portable Google TV. Nicknamed ‘Follow Me’ it can accompany you anytime anywhere, from road trips to camping getaways. It may be small, but it packs a punch, with four hours uninterrupted playback time, so the game or your favourite series can continue even when load shedding hits.

“This launch signifies more than just a product lineup; it showcases SKYWORTH’s impressive technological prowess and dedication to innovation in the South African market.”

Mo added that SKYWORTH has a strong manufacturing base and supply chain system in South Africa, allowing the company to become the first TV brand locally to:

  • Introduce borderless screens
  • Launch Android TVs
  • Launch Android OLED TVs
  • Launch the largest Android 10 TV
  • Launch a 100-inch 4K QLED TV

“SKYWORTH will continue to innovate in the technology realm, meeting and exceeding the demands of our customers.”
