Some artists entertain.

Others make audiences feel.

For fans of New Zealand soul singer TEEKS, it is that rare ability to transform emotion into music that has made him one of the most beloved contemporary voices in modern soul.

This August, South African audiences will finally have the opportunity to experience that magic live when the internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter embarks on a highly anticipated three-city tour across Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg.

Known for his velvet-smooth vocals, deeply personal songwriting and emotionally charged live performances, TEEKS has built a loyal global following through songs such as Remember Me, Without You, First Time and Something To Feel.

Now, after captivating audiences around the world with music rooted in vulnerability, healing and human connection, he is preparing to bring that experience to South African stages.

A Voice That Resonates Beyond Borders

In an era often dominated by fast-moving trends and fleeting viral moments, TEEKS has carved out a different path.

His music invites listeners to slow down, reflect and connect with emotions that are often difficult to put into words.

Blending soulful melodies with heartfelt storytelling, he has become known for creating songs that feel intensely personal while remaining universally relatable.

Whether exploring themes of love, loss, hope or self-discovery, TEEKS has developed a reputation for delivering music that stays with listeners long after the final note fades.

That emotional authenticity has earned him a devoted fanbase spanning continents and cultures.

Now, South African music lovers will have the opportunity to experience those songs in the intimate and powerful setting of a live performance.

Cape Town Opens the Journey

The South African tour begins in Cape Town on Thursday, 27 August 2026.

TEEKS will perform at the iconic Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock, a venue renowned for hosting some of the country’s most memorable live music experiences.

Set against one of Cape Town’s most vibrant creative districts, the performance promises an evening of soulful melodies and emotional storytelling, with an opening act still to be announced.

The event will run from 18:00 to 22:30.

Durban Welcomes the Soulful Star

Following the Cape Town performance, TEEKS heads to Durban on Friday, 28 August 2026.

The singer will take the stage at The Station in Stamford Hill, offering KwaZulu-Natal audiences an opportunity to experience his celebrated live show.

Running from 19:00 to 23:00, the Durban performance is expected to attract fans eager to witness the artist’s signature combination of intimacy and vocal brilliance.

As with the Cape Town show, supporting acts will be announced at a later stage.

Parklive Jozi Festival Hosts the Grand Finale

The tour will conclude in Johannesburg on Sunday, 30 August 2026, where TEEKS will perform as part of the highly anticipated Parklive Jozi Festival at Marks Park in Emmarentia.

The festival has built a strong reputation for delivering world-class live entertainment and introducing international talent to South African audiences.

TEEKS’ appearance adds significant excitement to what is already shaping up to be one of the standout live music events of the year.

Additional artists for the festival line-up are expected to be announced soon.

With thousands of music lovers expected to gather at Marks Park, the Johannesburg performance promises to be a fitting finale for the tour.

More Than a Concert

For many fans, a TEEKS performance is about more than simply hearing favourite songs performed live.

His concerts have become known for their emotional depth, intimate atmosphere and powerful connection between artist and audience.

Every lyric, every note and every pause feels deliberate.

It is this sincerity that has helped TEEKS stand out in the global music landscape and continues to attract listeners seeking something authentic.

As anticipation builds ahead of his South African debut tour, many are already predicting it will become one of the most memorable international music visits of 2026.

A Tour Music Lovers Won’t Want to Miss

With performances scheduled in three major cities and growing excitement among fans, TEEKS’ arrival marks a significant moment for South Africa’s live music scene.

For those who have followed his journey from afar, the tour presents a rare opportunity to experience one of contemporary soul music’s most compelling voices in person.

For those discovering him for the first time, it may be the beginning of a lasting musical connection.

Either way, August promises to be filled with unforgettable moments, heartfelt songs and the kind of emotional storytelling that has made TEEKS a global phenomenon.

South African fans can sign up for first access to Cape Town and Durban tickets, while tickets for Parklive Jozi Festival are already available.

One thing is certain: when TEEKS takes the stage, audiences can expect far more than a concert.

They can expect an experience.
