For many music fans, certain songs are more than just hits.

They are soundtracks to first loves, heartbreaks, weddings, friendships and unforgettable moments. They transport listeners back to an era when R&B ruled the airwaves and soulful storytelling sat at the heart of popular music.

This October, South Africans will have the opportunity to relive those memories when three of the genre’s most celebrated acts unite for one spectacular concert series.

Remoakantse Holdings has officially announced the Ultimate R&B Experience Tour, a nostalgia-filled musical event that will bring international R&B icons Brian McKnight, All-4-One and SWV to Cape Town and Pretoria from 28 to 31 October 2026.

Featuring decades of chart-topping hits, Grammy recognition and millions of records sold worldwide, the tour promises to be one of South Africa’s biggest live music events of the year.

Brian McKnight Leads a Star-Studded Line-up

Headlining the tour is legendary American singer-songwriter Brian McKnight, a name synonymous with romance, soul and timeless ballads.

Over a career spanning several decades, McKnight has sold between 25 and 30 million records worldwide and established himself as one of contemporary R&B’s most recognisable voices.

The Grammy-nominated artist has received 17 Grammy nominations and earned numerous accolades, including Soul Train Music Awards recognition, while building a catalogue that continues to resonate with audiences across generations.

South African fans can look forward to live performances of some of his most beloved songs, including Back at One, One Last Cry, Anytime, Crazy Love, 6, 8, 12 and Find Myself.

Known for his smooth vocals and emotionally charged performances, McKnight’s return to South Africa is expected to be one of the highlights of the tour.

He will perform at GrandWest Arena in Cape Town on 28 October 2026 and at SunBet Arena at Time Square in Pretoria on 30 and 31 October 2026.

All-4-One Returns with the Love Songs That Defined a Generation

Joining McKnight is Grammy Award-winning vocal group All-4-One, one of the most successful male R&B and pop groups of the 1990s.

With more than 20 million albums and singles sold globally, the quartet became famous for delivering some of the most iconic love songs in contemporary music history.

Their signature hit I Swear remains one of the most recognisable romantic songs ever recorded and continues to hold a place among Billboard’s legendary Hot 100 classics.

Audiences can also expect performances of fan favourites including I Can Love You Like That, So Much In Love, I Turn To You and These Arms.

For many fans, hearing these songs performed live will be a rare opportunity to revisit an era that helped shape modern R&B.

All-4-One will perform in Cape Town on 28 October and Pretoria on 30 and 31 October 2026.

SWV Brings the Soundtrack of 90s R&B

Completing the line-up is iconic R&B trio SWV, a group widely regarded as one of the defining voices of 1990s soul and R&B.

The award-winning group has sold an estimated 25 to 40 million records worldwide and remains one of the most influential female vocal groups of its generation.

Their music helped shape the sound of contemporary R&B, producing timeless classics that continue to inspire artists today.

Fans attending the Ultimate R&B Experience Tour can expect to hear chart-topping hits such as Weak, Rain, Right Here, Use Your Heart, I’m So Into You and Can We.

SWV has earned multiple award nominations throughout its career, including Grammy recognition, while also collecting honours such as BET and Children’s Choice Awards.

The trio will perform at GrandWest Arena in Cape Town on 28 October 2026 and at SunBet Arena in Pretoria on 30 October 2026.

More Than a Concert — A Celebration of an Era

While each artist brings an extraordinary catalogue of music to the stage, the Ultimate R&B Experience Tour is about more than individual performances.

It is a celebration of a golden era in music.

An era when soulful vocals, heartfelt lyrics and unforgettable melodies dominated playlists around the world.

Organisers say audiences can expect live bands, large-scale arena productions, nostalgic 90s R&B classics and a premium concert experience designed to transport fans back to the soundtrack of their youth.

With three globally recognised acts sharing the stage across multiple performances, the tour is set to deliver a rare musical experience that few events can match.

One of South Africa’s Must-See Music Events of 2026

As anticipation builds, the Ultimate R&B Experience Tour is already being positioned as one of the most significant international concert events to visit South Africa this year.

For long-time fans, it offers the opportunity to reconnect with music that shaped some of life’s most memorable moments.

For younger audiences, it provides a chance to witness the artists who helped define modern R&B.

From the emotional ballads of Brian McKnight to the timeless harmonies of All-4-One and the soulful power of SWV, October promises four nights filled with nostalgia, romance and world-class entertainment.

For South Africa’s R&B lovers, this is more than a concert.

It is a reunion with the soundtrack of a generation.
