Trailblazing Speaker Line-Up At This Year’s Women In Tech Shevolution Experience

Get ready to be inspired and empowered as the Innovator Trust proudly reveals an electrifying line-up of speakers for the 2023 Women In Tech SHEVOLUTION Experience.

WHAT TO EXPECT
From entrepreneurs and C-suite executives to influencers and thought leaders, the WIT 2023 line-up celebrates the diversity of talent that the tech world has to offer. As one of the leading experiences for women in ICT in South Africa, the Women In Tech SHEVOLUTION Experienceis set to be a gathering like no other, giving recognition to the remarkable contribution of the Innovator Trust’s women SMMEs and elevating the stories and lessons of individuals from our nation who have shattered glass ceilings and made a lasting impact in society.

Her story inspires. Her influence echoes. With innovation in her eyes, and ingenuity in her palms, she is a catalyst for the future.

JOIN THE SHEVOLUTION
Highlighting the effects of technology on the modern world and the ever-changing role of women in society, this year’s SHEVOLUTION theme presents a rallying cry for women from all ages, backgrounds, creeds and cultures to arise and look towards a brighter future, harnessing the power and possibility of technology as a mechanism to drive innovative solutions to Africa’s biggest socio-economic problems.

PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS
The exciting 1-day programme will be filled with thought provoking keynote addresses and lively and insightful panel discussions featuring a blend of cross-industry, seasoned experts and emerging icons. Topics will range from AI and Digital Transformation, Why Wellness Matters for the Modern Woman, tackling How to Build Agility, Sustainability and Reputability as women entrepreneurs and leaders, and unpack the Rise of the Influencer and How Technology has Enabled the Monetisation of Influence in society.

A preview of the list of iconic speakers include the likes of:

  • Takalani Netshitenzhe – Chief Officer and Executive Director of External Affairs: Vodacom South Africa,
  • Professor Mamokghethi Phakeng – Former Vice Chancellor: University of Cape Town,
  • Ipeleng Mkhari – CEO: Motseng Investment Holdings,
  • Nontando Mposo – Editor-in-Chief: Glamour Magazine, and
  • Sazini Mojapelo – CEO: GBVF Respond Fund,
with more prolific women set to be announced in the coming weeks.
This year’s WIT audience can look forward to some thought-leading keynote addresses covering the following pertinent topics with a comprehensive programme to be revealed in the coming weeks.

The event will take place in hybrid format with a live audience of invited guests as well virtually, encouraging viewers from across the world to tune in via livestream.
