Get on over to the Peoples Theatre for the stage adaptation of DISNEY’S MY SON PINOCCHIO JR, on stage from 12 March to 21 April 2024.

You don’t need to wish upon a star for the team at the Peoples Theatre to deliver on top tier family entertainment – they are well known for bringing fun and laughter to audiences with their quality children’s theatre productions and this is no different for their first instalment of 2024.

This classic Disney story is told from the perspective of toy maker Geppetto, who must journey beyond the toy shop to discover the meaning of family.

My Son Pinocchio Jr features the beloved classic songs ‘When You Wish Upon a Star’ and ‘I’ve Got No Strings’, alongside a host of songs by Oscar and Grammy award-winner and master melodist Stephen Schwartz, tackling timely issues about what it means to be “the perfect child” – and what it means to be “a real father.”

Pinocchio is one of the finest classic tales of all time.

This story is filled with a mixture of magic, suspense, fun and excitement. Pinocchio, the little wooden puppet who after a series of adventures is magically brought to life by The Blue Fairy, must show that he is BRAVE, HONEST and UNSELFISH before he can become a real boy.

My Son Pinocchio Jr  is a perfect, dynamic, and magical mix of a heart-warming fairy tale and action-packed adventure. Audiences will  love following Pinocchio’s journey from an awkward wooden puppet to being turned into a real live boy by The Blue Fairy.
