On Saturday, 25 April 2026, the gardens of The German Club will transform into a high-energy playground of sound, soul, and self-expression as The Hangout Fest 3 returns — louder, bolder, and more electric than ever before.

A FESTIVAL ROOTED IN FREEDOM

More than just a music event, The Hangout Fest 3 arrives as a celebration of identity, connection, and creative freedom — perfectly timed to honour South Africa’s Freedom Day weekend.

It’s a space where individuality takes centre stage.
Where strangers become a community.
Where music becomes the language that unites.

Festivalgoers are invited to embrace the moment — whether rolling in with friends or flying solo — and fully immerse themselves in a day designed to celebrate what it means to be free.

A LINE-UP THAT HITS EVERY NOTE

If the message is powerful, the soundtrack is unstoppable.

This year’s lineup brings together some of South Africa’s most celebrated and dynamic acts, including:

🎸 The Dirty Skirts
🎤 Lee Cole
🔥 Shadowclub
🌊 Majozi
🎶 The Black Cat Bones
🎵 The Muffinz
✨ Jasper Dan
🎸 Rambling Bones
⚡ Prime Circle
🖤 Hellcats

Keeping the energy alive between sets, DJ performances from Michael Lesar and Cath Grenfell will ensure the vibe never dips, while charismatic host Barney Simon guides the crowd through the experience.

From indie rock to soulful melodies and high-voltage anthems, the lineup reflects the diversity and depth of South Africa’s music scene.

A FULL-DAY EXPERIENCE UNDER THE SUN

The rhythm begins early — and doesn’t let go.

🕚 Gates open: 11:00
🎶 First performance: 12:00

From the first chord to the final encore, attendees can expect a full day of immersive entertainment, surrounded by a vibrant, festival-style atmosphere.

ELEVATED EXPERIENCES FOR EVERY FESTIVALGOER

Whether you’re in it for the music, the comfort, or the full VIP treatment, The Hangout Fest 3 offers ticket options tailored to every kind of experience:

🎟️ General Admission – access to the full festival experience
🌟 VIP Packages – featuring:

  • Exclusive bar access
  • Private ablution facilities
  • Comfortable seating areas

FOOD, FLAVOUR AND FESTIVAL ENERGY

No festival is complete without great food — and this one delivers.

Guests can enjoy a wide variety of food and beverage options curated by the venue alongside additional vendors, including vegan-friendly choices to suit diverse tastes.

Merchandise will also be available on-site, allowing fans to take a piece of the experience home with them.

FAMILY-FRIENDLY, COMMUNITY-DRIVEN

In true festival spirit, The Hangout Fest 3 welcomes all generations.

👨‍👩‍👧 Children under 12 enter free, although advance registration is encouraged to assist with planning and capacity management.

It’s a reminder that music — and freedom — is something to be shared.

PLAN YOUR DAY RIGHT

Festivalgoers are encouraged to come prepared:
