A Penalty Shootout with a Digital Twist
Inspired by the excitement surrounding the FIFA World Cup, CapeGate Shopping Centre is inviting visitors to swap the stands for Centre Court and take on a virtual goalkeeper in an interactive soccer challenge.
Participants will have 40 seconds to score as many points as possible by striking designated target zones. Every shot will test speed, precision and accuracy as players attempt to outsmart the digital keeper and climb the live leaderboard.
Whether you’re an experienced football enthusiast or simply looking for a fun activity with family and friends, the challenge has been designed to welcome everyone.
Every Goal Counts
One of the event’s biggest attractions is the live leaderboard, allowing participants to instantly see how they rank against other players throughout the day.
The highest scorer in each category on Friday and Saturday will automatically secure a place in the Grand Finale on Sunday, where the overall champions will battle for top honours.
The format keeps the competition exciting from the opening kick until the final whistle, encouraging players to return and improve their scores.

Outstanding performances will be rewarded with CapeGate Shopping Centre gift cards.
For adults and participants aged 12 and older competing in the men’s and women’s divisions, the prizes include:
