MSC Cruises has announced an additional departure for its upcoming local season, giving travellers an earlier chance to step aboard MSC Armonia as the ship makes her highly anticipated debut in the region.
The newly added sailing will depart from Durban’s Nelson Mandela Cruise Terminal on 23 November 2026, taking guests on a four-night journey to Pomene in Mozambique.

MSC Armonia combines classic Mediterranean style with a range of facilities aimed at couples, families, groups, repeat cruisers and first-time cruise travellers. The ship stretches across 13 decks and can accommodate approximately 2,500 guests.
On board, travellers can choose from four restaurants, multiple bars and lounges, two swimming pools and expansive outdoor spaces.
There is also a fully equipped Technogym® and the MSC Aurea Spa, offering guests plenty of options to balance adventure with time to slow down.
For families, the experience extends to younger travellers, with dedicated kids’ and teens’ clubs alongside age-appropriate entertainment and activities.

More than 30 sailings across the region
The additional Pomene departure joins an already extensive 2026/2027 season.
MSC Cruises says the programme will feature more than 30 sailings from Durban and Cape Town, with itineraries ranging from shorter ocean breaks to longer voyages.
