iPhone 18 Pro Pre-Orders Open at iStore

The new iPhone 18 Pro starts at R28 799 — or as little as R11 699 when you trade in at iStore.

The wait is over.

Pre-orders for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are now open at iStore, giving South African customers the opportunity to secure Apple’s new Pro range ahead of its in-store launch on 18 September 2026.

For customers looking to upgrade, the headline price is even more striking. The iPhone 18 Pro starts from R28 799, or from just R11 699 when customers trade in an eligible previously loved device.

And iStore is putting South Africa’s four major mobile networks in one place.

One destination. Four major networks.

Choosing a cellular contract upgrade does not mean choosing between different destinations.

At iStore, customers can pre-order the iPhone 18 Pro or iPhone 18 Pro Max through Vodacom, MTN, Telkom or Cell C.

Customers can upgrade an existing contract or take out a new one while keeping their number. The experience is further supported by iStore’s exclusive services offering.

For anyone ready to make the jump to the new iPhone, that creates a single destination for comparing and arranging the upgrade.

Trade in your old device and save up to R25 000

There is another route to bringing down the cost.

Customers trading in a previously loved iPhone can save up to R25 000 on their new iPhone.

That trade-in value can either be paid directly into the customer’s bank account or applied as instant store credit.

According to iStore, this can bring the starting price of the iPhone 18 Pro down to as little as R11 699.

The trade-in option also goes beyond the iPhone.

Customers can trade in up to five devices at once, including an iPhone, Mac, iPad, Apple Watch, Android device or Windows PC.

That means older technology could become part of the journey towards a new iPhone 18 Pro.

Pre-order through the app for priority access

There is also an incentive for customers who want to get their hands on the new range as soon as stock arrives.

Customers who pre-order through the iStore app secure priority access to the new range when stock arrives.

Every iPhone purchased at iStore also comes with free iCarePlus, valued at R1 999.

The package includes a two-year warranty and screen repair protection.

But the support does not stop there.

iStore also includes free setup, personalised training and data transfer, carried out by Apple-trained specialists.

For customers upgrading from an existing device, that could make the move to a new iPhone considerably more straightforward.

The countdown to launch is on

The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are available to pre-order online through iStore or via the iStore app.

The range officially launches in-store on 18 September 2026.

Pre-order the iPhone 18 Pro range at iStore

For customers choosing a cellular contract, pre-orders are also available across Vodacom, MTN, Telkom and Cell C.

The upgrade starts here

The appeal of the iPhone 18 Pro pre-order is not simply about getting a new phone.

It is about the options surrounding the upgrade.

Customers can choose cash or a cellular contract. They can upgrade or take out a new contract. They can trade in up to five devices. They can receive up to R25 000 in trade-in value. They can also access iStore’s included services, from setup and data transfer to free iCarePlus.

And with the iPhone 18 Pro starting at R28 799, or as little as R11 699 after the maximum stated trade-in saving, the path to Apple’s latest Pro range looks very different depending on how customers choose to upgrade.

The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max arrive in iStore stores on 18 September 2026.

The countdown has begun.
