Explora Journeys Unveils Endless Worlds, Its Inaugural World Journey Set to Redefine Luxury Travel in 2029

In an era where time has become the ultimate luxury, Explora Journeys is offering something profoundly rare: the freedom to experience the world slowly, meaningfully and without interruption.

The luxury ocean travel brand of the MSC Group has officially unveiled Endless Worlds, its highly anticipated Inaugural World Journey, set to sail aboard EXPLORA I from 6 January to 14 May 2029. Spanning 128 days, this extraordinary east-to-west voyage marks the first time Explora Journeys invites guests to explore the globe as a single, flowing narrative — crossing four continents, 29 countries and territories, and 63 distinct destinations in one seamless Journey.

More than a voyage, Endless Worlds represents a defining milestone for the brand: a statement of intent rooted in its signature Ocean State of Mind philosophy — purposeful, unhurried and deeply enriching.

A World Journey Designed for Those with Time to Truly Travel

Unlike traditional world cruises that rush from port to port, Endless Worlds has been conceived for discerning travellers who value depth over distance and presence over pace. The Journey traces ancient maritime routes of trade, cultural exchange and human connection, crossing the Indian, Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, allowing the story of the world to unfold gradually — just as it once did.

Departing from Dubai’s sunlit coastline, the Journey concludes nearly four and a half months later at Barcelona’s Mediterranean shores, framing the globe as a continuous, interconnected experience rather than a checklist of destinations.

For Explora Journeys, Endless Worlds also marks a historic first: the brand’s maiden arrival in Australia and New Zealand, further cementing its global footprint in ultra-luxury ocean travel.

“Endless Worlds represents a milestone in the evolution of Explora Journeys,” said Anna Nash, President of Explora Journeys.
“Our Inaugural World Journey embodies our deepest values – boundless exploration, cultural curiosity and a meaningful connection to the ocean. It enables our guests to experience the world as an uninterrupted story, told gradually and gracefully, with the time and space to absorb its beauty in full.”

Seven Passages, One Unbroken Story

Endless Worlds unfolds through seven distinct Passages, each designed as a complete Journey with its own rhythm and narrative. Woven together, they form a single, unbroken story of exploration.

From Dubai, EXPLORA I glides toward the spice-laden ports of India, the shimmering atolls of the Maldives, and the spiritual landscapes of Sri Lanka. Southeast Asia follows, with vibrant capitals and the iconic islands of Bali and Komodo, before the Journey opens into the vastness of Oceania.

Australia is explored at a deliberately unhurried pace, with calls at Sydney, extended stays in Cairns, Airlie Beach, Brisbane and Melbourne, and encounters with the wild beauty of Tasmania. From there, guests venture into the dramatic fjords and natural splendour of New Zealand.

The heart of the Pacific Ocean reveals itself next — from the warmth of Fiji, the cultural depth of Tonga and the Cook Islands, to the turquoise serenity of French Polynesia, before reaching the enigmatic spirit of Easter Island — one of the world’s most remote and captivating destinations.

Crossing into the Americas, EXPLORA I transits the legendary Panama Canal, one of the greatest engineering achievements in history, before tracing the Pacific coastline through the cultural riches of Chile and Peru. The Journey then sails eastward across the Atlantic Ocean, discovering remote island gems including Bermuda, Faial Island and São Miguel in the Azores, before closing this historic circumnavigation in the Mediterranean.

Crafted for Effortless, Elevated Exploration

Life aboard EXPLORA I is intentionally designed to move in harmony with the ocean. Ocean-front suites with private terraces become serene homes at sea, while ocean-inspired wellness experiences, curated enrichment programmes and globally influenced culinary journeys evolve with each region visited.

Cultural performances and visiting experts bring destinations vividly to life, while entertainment and programming shift throughout the 128 days to reflect the landscapes, histories and stories encountered along the way.

Every detail of Endless Worlds has been designed to remove friction. Intuitive service, seamless transfers and thoughtful inclusions allow guests to remain fully present, while immersive Destination Experiences, led by local experts, provide meaningful engagement with the people, traditions and natural environments that define each place.

A New Definition of World Travel

At its heart, Endless Worlds is an invitation — not merely to see the planet, but to feel its rhythm. It is a Journey shaped by time, tide and the quiet, transformative power of the ocean. Rather than rushing across the world, guests are encouraged to inhabit it, absorbing its beauty, complexity and connection as one continuous experience.

Reservations for Endless Worlds will open early in 2026. Interested guests may register at explorajourneys.com, contact their preferred Travel Advisor, or speak directly with an Ambassador at an Explora Experience Centre.
