The stage is set for an even bigger celebration of art, fashion, and music as Mahindra South Africa confirmed the return of Fusion Fest in 2026. The announcement was made at the Festival of Motoring, where cultural ambassador Nomuzi “Moozlie” Mabena electrified the audience with the news.

The first Mahindra Fusion Fest in 2025 drew over 7 000 fans and brought together some of South Africa’s brightest emerging talents alongside household names like Cassper Nyovest, K.O., Matthew Mole, Mi Casa, Kamo Mphela, and Aymos. It wasn’t just a concert – it was a cultural movement that fused creativity, community, and celebration of South Africa’s diversity.

Fusion Fest 2026: Bigger, Bolder, Broader

The 2026 edition is set for 7 March, and this time, Mahindra is taking the celebration on the road. Smaller build-up events in Durban and Cape Town will double as talent searches, giving rising musicians and artists the chance to perform on the main stage alongside industry icons.

“Fusion Fest was conceptualised to celebrate South Africa’s youthful energy and creative spirit,” says Rajesh Gupta, CEO of Mahindra South Africa. “It is our gift to the more than 100 000 Mahindra owners who have journeyed with us over the past two decades. As the fastest-growing automotive brand in South Africa, Fusion Fest is also our way of giving back and celebrating the dynamic rainbow nation.”

More Than Just Music

Fusion Fest has also been a platform to spotlight Mahindra’s vehicles in unique, creative ways. At the 2025 festival, the Mahindra XUV 3XO made headlines when it appeared in a custom design by fashion maestro Thula Sindi. The limited-edition XUV 3XO Thula Sindi Edition, revealed again at the Festival of Motoring, highlighted Mahindra’s ability to merge automotive innovation with cultural expression.

Fastest-Growing Brand in South Africa

Mahindra has not only won fans at Fusion Fest but also on the roads. The brand recently ended its financial year as South Africa’s fastest-growing automotive brand, securing a spot in the country’s Top 10 best-selling vehicle brands. With a fresh line-up of SUVs and Pik Up bakkies, Mahindra continues to grow its footprint as an integral part of South Africa’s motoring landscape.

What’s Next

With the date confirmed, planning for Fusion Fest 2026 is already underway. The first artist announcements and competition details – including opportunities for fans and rising stars – will be revealed soon.

Mahindra is calling on fans to follow the journey and join the conversation using the hashtags #MahindraFusionFest and #MahindraSA.

Fusion Fest 2026 promises not only to raise the bar for live entertainment but also to reaffirm Mahindra’s role as a brand deeply connected to South Africa’s culture, creativity, and people.
