Movie magic returns under Cape Town and Winelands’ starry skies with The Galileo. The Galileo Open Air Cinema is excited to unveil “Galileo Under the Stars”, the theme for its upcoming Season 13, from 16 October 2024 to 17 May 2025. Enjoy a vibrant selection of films catering to all tastes, from classic movies to contemporary hits across genres like romance, comedy, drama, animation, musicals, and thrillers. Special shows for Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Easter are also featured. Experience unforgettable cinema under the stars at stunning venues with gourmet snacks and refreshments on hand to ensure ultimate comfort and enjoyment.

Fans will be delighted to hear that The Galileo is making a grand return to Kirstenbosch Garden, Central Park in Century City, Blaauwklippen, Lourensford, Nooitgedacht, Leopard’s Leap, Glenelly and other select wine estates in Paarl, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Kuilsriver. New venues in Noordhoek, Wellington, Cape Town, Stellenbosch, and Paarl will offer a fresh twist to your open-air cinema experience.

Tickets start at R145 per person, with doors opening at 6 PM on weekdays and 5 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
