Get ready to jingle all the way into a world of retro sparkle, soaring harmonies and festive nostalgia — because The Jingle Belles is about to light up the holiday season with pure Christmas magic.

Produced by Origen Productions, written and directed by Emma Amber, and choreographed by Hannah Van Lennep, this joyous new musical transports audiences straight into the shimmer of the late 1960s. From the creative team and cast behind The Marvelous Wonderettes, the production promises a heartwarming blend of glamour, humour and holiday cheer.

A FESTIVE TIME CAPSULE SET IN 1960s SPRINGFIELD

Set against the backdrop of Springfield High’s annual tree-decorating ceremony, four vivacious young women take centre stage as they prepare to entertain their tight-knit community. Between rehearsals, friendly banter, heartfelt confessions and bursts of laughter, audiences are invited into an intimate celebration of sisterhood, music and the joys of the season.

Their story may be set in the 60s, but its message — friendship, unity and festive spirit — feels timeless.

A MUSICAL SLEIGH RIDE OF CHRISTMAS CLASSICS

If you love Christmas music, this production is a gift wrapped especially for you.

The show delivers a glittering playlist of iconic festive hits including:

✨ Rocking Around the Christmas Tree
✨ Santa Baby
✨ Jingle Bell Rock
✨ Santa Claus is Coming to Town
✨ …and many more beloved favourites.

Each number is reimagined with lush harmonies, playful comedic touches and arrangements that echo the golden sound of 60s girl groups. The result? A feel-good soundtrack that will have audiences grinning, tapping their feet — and maybe even singing along.

DAZZLING DANCE, HEARTFELT MOMENTS & A TOUCH OF SPARKLE

Choreography by Hannah Van Lennep brings the era to life with energetic, stylish movement inspired by the decade’s iconic dance trends. Expect slick formations, sassy flair and choreography that complements each musical number with charm and gusto.

But The Jingle Belles is not all glitz — it’s also packed with warmth, connection and genuinely touching moments that capture the true essence of Christmas.

It’s a show for families, friends, theatre lovers and anyone who cherishes that unmistakable holiday feeling.

And yes… Santa may very well make a surprise appearance.
