WAXIT Bedfordview Review – Why we give it a 10/10

Spring is here, event season is upon us, and as we ease into the last few months of the year, it’s time to show off those summer bodies, but is yours ready? No matter your shape or size, feel good by looking your best, and it’s as easy as getting a wax. We were invited to experience WAXIT Bedfordview (Bedford Village) who officially opened their doors on the 15th August, and it was not your average wax appointment – not by far.

From the reception, WAXIT Bedfordview is helpful before you even arrive – offering directions to those not familiar with the area. A friendly face at reception is a standard, and then the therapies invites you into the treatment rooms and makes you feel comfortable from the get-go.

Waxing isn’t just for women or athletes – for anyone looking to tidy-up for poolside fun, or their next beach  break, waxing is the solution as: Your skin will be less prone to inflammation; Less itching or prickliness; your hair grows back finer and sparces between appointments; no chance of cuts or nicks; and less chance of ingrown hairs.

Once the therapist has walked you through what you can expect from the session they leave you to prepare, and if you have any questions, they welcome it before, during or after the session. WAXIT is particularly impressive as the highest hygiene standards are being followed. It has a luxe feel that let’s you know that you’re in experienced hands. But, what is different from your typical salon, is that they just do waxing – which means they ensure your needs are catered to.

With wet wipes available, and items to help you clean up – you’re immediately more at ease as you feel more comfortable and confident. Sanitiser is also readily available, so if you feel that you might not be ready to let your guard down just yet, WAXIT has your back.

WAXIT also does eyebrows – for those with 20min to spare ahead of a special dinner, or a week filled with meetings. Some therapists are able to thread, but if you are waxing your brows, get a tint – you will NOT regret it! Also, they use their own kind of wax – so you can be sure that it has been made with your needs in mind.

Having tried a few of their offerings, their impressive menu has you spot for choice. From Leg waxes, Hollywoods, underarms, all the way up to eyebrow wax, we’re happy to fully recommend the team at WAXIT Bedfordview.
