Esse Skincare Launches Concealer for Sensitive Skin

Pioneering microbiome skincare brand Esse launches a microbiome-friendly concealer for sensitive skin.

An increasing proportion (now over 70%) of people report experiencing skin sensitivity to some degree.1 Imbalanced skin microbiomes and damaging skincare routines are likely drivers of the rise in sensitivity and other inflammatory skin concerns, which affect skin appearance. With many concealers containing ingredients that can irritate sensitive skin (such as fragrances, alcohol, and some preservatives), those facing this concern are left with few options. Concealers without adequate nourishment can also dry out the skin, and some sensitive-friendly options sacrifice coverage and longevity, compromising on quality to avoid irritation.

The new Esse Concealer provides a solution for clients with sensitive skin and all other concealer users. Natural mineral pigments (Titanium Dioxide and Iron Oxides) are carefully selected for the perfect particle size, then coated in a natural lecithin wax.

These size-controlled, wax-coated minerals provide smooth and even coverage with a nourishing feel and a natural finish. “The wax coating allows the product to integrate seamlessly with the skin’s healthy oils, offering impressive spreadability and a matte look without drying the skin,” explains the research and development team at Esse. “It also provides staying power that will keep skin looking smooth, even during those hot summer days.”

The finish provided by the Esse Concealer makes it perfect for use over areas that appear too shiny or oily. It’s also the ideal partner to a foundation, especially the Esse Foundation, which provides a dewy base layer for the concealer to build on, giving each user the ability to craft the perfect end texture.

Capable of delivering high-quality results whether it’s used for under-eye circles, covering blemishes, or contouring and highlighting, this concealer provides the perfect look for even the most sensitive skin, all while maintaining Esse’s unwavering standards for high-quality natural ingredients, respect for the skin’s microbiome, and environmental care.
