Two Comedies & a Musical are What’s on at Sibaya this March!

March into the month of March with a choice between two comedy shows taking place at Sibaya Casino & Entertainment Kingdom – Laughs Unplugged or Bash with Tash Ladies Night Out. End the month with a musical and beauty performance – Shakti Beats Musical Mania SA 2025 Beauty Goddess National Pageant Finals.

Laughs Unplugged, iZulu Theatre, 01 March 2025

Start 2025 with contagious laughter and a musical experience at Laughs Unplugged, happening at the iZulu Theatre, Sibaya Casino, on Saturday, 01 March 2025.

The performance features a stellar line-up, including comedians Darren Maule, Sagie Murugan, Mmangaliso Mhlongo, and Nabeel Peer, as well as singing sensation Ashlen Govender.

Darren Maule is one of South Africa’s top comedians and an award-winning radio host with over 20 years of experience. He is renowned for his quick wit, clever observational humour, and physical comedy.

Sagie Murugan has had a flair for comedy since the age of 11. He tackles stereotypes and narrates hilarious tales, captivating audiences with his unique brand of laugh-out-loud comedy.

Mmangaliso Mhlongo captivates audiences with his humour and charisma. Born to entertain, he has a gift for making people laugh. His career took off after being named “Best Newcomer Comedian” in the Comediology competition, which opened up numerous opportunities for him in the industry.

Nabeel Peer is best known for his hilarious impressions and spot-on accents, making him a rising star in the South African stand-up comedy scene. With a quick wit and sharp tongue, he offers a fresh perspective on stage, delivering clever insights into the absurdities of everyday life and various social issues.

Ashlen Govender is a South African Indian vocalist, musician, DJ, MC, and social media personality. He began singing at an early age and has since captivated thousands with his melodious voice, performing in various genres and nearly ten different languages.

Bash with Tash Ladies’ Nights sells out nationwide so put Saturday, March 15 at 20h00 in your diary and get your tickets sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment. You don’t want to miss a night of side-splitting comedy with Chatsworth comedian, Natashia Portrag, at Sibaya iZulu Theatre.

Natashia rose to fame with her viral social media series “Have a Bash with Tash.” She draws inspiration from everyday life to create her hilarious characters, and one of her favourites is Tash, the “Langara Queen”. With her remarkable talent for quickly changing accents, she brings each character to life seamlessly.

If you are 18 or older, picture yourself in a room full of women who’ve all embraced the dress code of Paint The Town Red and ready to enjoy a night of laughter.

Shakti Beats Musical Mania SA 2025 Beauty Goddess National Pageant Finals – Saturday, 29 March 2025

It’s twice the entertainment as Eastern musical performances and beauty grace Sibaya’s iZulu Theatre stage on Saturday, 29 March 2025 from 18h00.

A star-studded cast of vibrant and versatile musicians will back a cast of some of South Africa’s leading stage performers and recording artists including Yovani, Nerissa, Ajesh, Shivesh (Jhb) and debut guest artist Miss Rajnitha Magraj.

They will be sharing the stage with some of our country’s most enchanting women as they vie for the coveted Beauty Goddess National Pageant crown.

Compered by Jay Singh, it will be a night of glitz and glamour wrapped in an Eastern musical extravaganza.
