In a world where celebrity lives are often polished and packaged, Tia Mowry is choosing something radically different: honesty.

Her new unscripted docuseries, Tia Mowry: My Next Act, arrives on Bravo Africa on Sunday, 29 March at 7 PM, offering audiences an intimate, unfiltered look at a woman stepping into one of the most transformative chapters of her life.

New episodes will air every Sunday, building toward the season finale on 17 May 2026.

A Story of Starting Over

For decades, Tia Mowry has been a familiar face on screens around the world — an accomplished actress, producer, author and entrepreneur with a career spanning more than 30 years and a global following exceeding 25 million.

From starring roles in television hits like Family Reunion to publishing bestselling books including The Quick Fix Kitchen, her journey has been defined by success, consistency and connection.

But behind the accolades lies a deeply personal evolution.

After spending much of her life as part of a duo — first alongside her twin sister Tamera Mowry, and later in a 20-year marriage — Tia now finds herself navigating life independently for the very first time.

And she’s ready to share that journey with the world.

Unfiltered Access to a Life in Transition

Tia Mowry: My Next Act goes beyond the surface, offering unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to the realities of Tia’s life as she embraces change.

Each episode follows her as she:

  • Adjusts to her newly single status

  • Navigates the demands of motherhood

  • Expands and builds her business ventures

  • Balances a fast-paced, evolving career

  • Steps back into the dating world

  • Rediscovers what truly brings her joy

This is not a scripted narrative. It’s a raw and reflective exploration of identity, purpose and growth.

For viewers, it’s an opportunity to witness a public figure reclaim her story — on her own terms.

A Journey That Resonates

At its core, My Next Act is about reinvention.

It speaks to anyone who has ever faced a life shift — whether in relationships, career or personal identity — and had to rebuild, redefine and rediscover themselves.

Tia’s willingness to open up about her challenges, uncertainties and hopes makes the series deeply relatable.

From parenting to entrepreneurship, from heartbreak to healing, her story reflects the universal search for balance, happiness and meaning.

This chapter marks not just a transition — but a transformation.

is yourself.
