Calpol Connects With South African Families at MamaMagic 2026

Parenting doesn’t come with a manual, and when childhood fevers, teething pain or restless nights arrive, reassurance can be just as valuable as relief. That was the focus of Calpol’s presence at the MamaMagic Baby and Parenting Expo 2026, where the trusted children’s healthcare brand stepped beyond the pharmacy shelf to engage directly with South African families.

As the Official Headline Sponsor of the country’s leading parenting and baby expo, held from 3 to 5 July 2026 at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, Calpol created a welcoming space where parents and caregivers could ask questions, share experiences and receive practical guidance on caring for children through every stage of childhood.

Creating Meaningful Conversations With Parents

Throughout the three-day event, the Calpol stand became more than an exhibition space—it evolved into a trusted destination for parents seeking advice, reassurance and support.

First-time parents explored infant care, while experienced caregivers discussed everyday childhood challenges, including fever, teething, headaches and other common ailments.

These real-life conversations reflected the realities of parenting, from soothing a baby through a difficult night to finding age-appropriate relief for growing children.

Rather than simply showcasing products, Calpol focused on listening to the concerns of families and helping them feel more confident in managing everyday childhood illnesses.

Showcasing an Expanded Calpol Range

MamaMagic 2026 also provided the ideal platform for Calpol to introduce visitors to its expanded product range.

The range now supports children from as young as one month old through to 12 years of age, giving parents more options as their children grow.

Families attending the expo also had the opportunity to discover two new flavours:

  • Berry Blaze
  • Orange

The new flavours have been developed to provide parents with additional choices when managing common childhood pain and fever.

Supporting Parents Through Every Stage

According to Irvin Hendricks, Senior Brand Manager for Calpol, the conversations at MamaMagic reinforced the importance of accessible and trusted health information.

“MamaMagic gave us a valuable opportunity to meet parents where they are and to hear first-hand what matters most to them when caring for their children.”

He added:

“Whether parents were asking about fever, teething or age-appropriate relief, the conversations reminded us how important trusted, practical support is at every stage of childhood. The response to the expanded range and our new Berry Blaze and Orange flavours was incredibly encouraging.”

Trusted Relief for Everyday Childhood Ailments

For many visitors, the value of Calpol’s presence extended beyond learning about new products.

The expo highlighted how trusted advice and clear health information can help parents feel more prepared when their children become unwell.

As one of South Africa’s trusted children’s pain and fever relief brands, Calpol provides fast and effective relief, starts working on fever in as little as 15 minutes, and is gentle on little tummies.

It can be used to help relieve symptoms associated with:

  • Fever
  • Teething
  • Toothache
  • Sore throat
  • Headaches

Continuing to Support South African Families

Following its successful appearance at MamaMagic 2026, Calpol’s expanded range—including the new Berry Blaze and Orange flavours—is now available nationwide.

The brand’s latest initiative reflects its ongoing commitment to supporting South African parents with trusted products, practical guidance and meaningful conversations during the everyday moments that matter most.

From a baby’s first fever to the growing pains of childhood, Calpol continues to position itself as a trusted companion for families navigating the rewarding—and sometimes challenging—journey of raising children.
