Pretoria, South Africa — A new cultural force is stepping boldly into the national spotlight. Outside Already, one of the country’s fastest-rising platforms shaping youth culture and creative influence, has officially announced its flagship national event set to take place on 8 August 2026 at 012 Central in Pretoria.

Positioned as a powerful convergence of culture, youth, and influence, the event is expected to draw attendees from across South Africa, uniting leading voices from music, business, media, and the broader creative economy.

A lineup that signals cultural authority

The first wave of talent already points to the scale and intent behind the event. Confirmed names include:

  • Kojo Annan
  • Kelvin Momo
  • Mörda

Additional artists and keynote speakers are set to be announced, further building anticipation for what is shaping up to be one of the most significant cultural gatherings of the year.

A cultural moment anchored in history

Taking place on the eve of National Women’s Day, the event carries deeper symbolic weight. It builds into the historic Women’s March to the Union Buildings, bridging legacy with modern cultural expression.

In a deliberate and meaningful move, the platform creates space for men to stand in support of women—amplifying women’s voices while reinforcing representation within culture and society.

The event is being developed in ongoing engagement with the City of Tshwane, alongside support from the Tshwane Metropolitan Police Department, ensuring a safe, structured, and city-aligned large-scale experience.

From intimate beginnings to national movement

The journey of Outside Already began with a private, high-level cultural dinner hosted at Marble Restaurant—an exclusive gathering that set the tone for its future.

That evening brought together a powerful mix of cultural and business leaders, including:

  • Lichi Pan
  • Sinqobile Tusani
  • Ndaba Mandela
  • Olwethu Leshabane
  • Kelebogile Mabunda
  • Count Lupa
  • Malume Jade
  • Muriel Mamoepa
  • Froo Saana

What started as an intimate exchange has rapidly evolved into a national platform—one that is not just hosting events, but actively shaping the direction of culture.

Redefining freedom for a new generation

More than a moment, Outside Already is positioning itself as a movement.

“Outside Already is not just a moment; it is a reflection of where culture is going,” says co-founder Jay Carson. “We are intentional about creating spaces that feel authentic to this generation, where identity, creativity and legacy intersect in a way that is both relevant and forward-looking.”

That vision extends beyond culture into economics and opportunity.

“We are building a platform that is as commercially viable as it is culturally significant,” adds co-founder Silvio Da Silva. “It connects influence, opportunity, and community at a national level.”

What to expect on 8 August 2026

Set in the heart of Pretoria, the event will bring together a curated audience of creators, entrepreneurs, cultural leaders, and industry stakeholders.

Attendees can expect:

  • Live music and DJ performances
  • Cultural and leadership conversations
  • Community building and collaboration
  • Premium content creation and digital amplification

It’s a format designed not just for entertainment, but for connection, dialogue, and long-term impact.

Tickets now available

Tickets are officially live via Howler:

General Access: R250
Hospitality packages: To be announced

With national anticipation building, demand is expected to be high.

On the eve of Women’s Day, in the capital city, this is more than a gathering.

It is a statement.

A signal that culture is shifting, voices are rising, and a new generation is not waiting for permission to define its moment.

Culture is already moving. Outside Already is where South Africa meets.
