This festive season, Sandton City is unwrapping its most imaginative holiday experience yet. For the first time, the iconic mall introduces the City of Enchantment, a whimsical festive world filled with sparkle, sweetness, creativity and unforgettable family moments. Running from 5 to 28 December, the activation transforms Centre Court into a dreamlike holiday realm — complete with creative stations, Santa moments, artisan treats, exquisite décor and festive generosity in support of the SPCA.
A New World of Festive Wonder
Stepping into the City of Enchantment is like crossing into a storybook. A glowing drawbridge, a charming reindeer merry-go-round, Santa’s wishing well and soft ambient lighting set the stage for a world where imagination leads the way.
Children can dive into festive creativity through four immersive stations:
• Sprinkle & Sugar
Kids decorate giant cookies shaped like gingerbread friends, teddy bears, festive trees and baubles.
• Donut & Dazzle
A Krispy Kreme DIY doughnut station lets each child design their own sweet masterpiece.
• Trees & Twinkle
A creative corner where little artists personalise their own mini festive trees — complete with handmade boxes to take home.
• Baubles & Bliss
Children craft bespoke baubles to add to their tree at home or gift to someone special.
At Words & Wishes, kids can write heartfelt letters to Santa before meeting him for a keepsake photo in a beautifully lit festive setting.
For parents needing a quiet exhale, Château Gâteaux offers a cosy pop-up with hot and cold drinks, indulgent slices and whole cakes to take home — perfect for holiday entertaining.
Open daily from 9am to 6pm, the City of Enchantment allows guests to select their preferred activities, register and pay at the entrance. Activities range from R50 to R160, ensuring accessible fun for all families.

Santa and his elves will welcome guests for festive photographs in Centre Court from 9am to 6pm. Photo packages start at R100, with multiple payment options available.
