The July school holidays are about to get even sweeter as Vincent Park Shopping Centre invites young bakers to roll up their sleeves and unleash their creativity at The Cupcake Factory: The Little Bakers Workshop.

Running daily until Saturday, 18 July, in the Foschini Court, the interactive baking experience promises a fun-filled holiday activity where children can decorate delicious treats, learn new skills and create lasting memories with family and friends. Adding an inspiring twist, every child will also have the opportunity to brighten someone else’s day through a heartfelt act of kindness.

A Hands-On Baking Adventure for Young Creators

Designed specifically for children, The Cupcake Factory combines creativity, learning and play in a safe, guided environment where young participants can decorate cupcakes, cookies and mini cakes before taking their edible masterpieces home.

The workshop offers two daily sessions throughout the school holidays:

  • 11:00 to 12:30
  • 13:00 to 15:00

Each session accommodates up to 24 children, creating an intimate setting where every participant can receive hands-on guidance while exploring their creativity.

New Themes Every Day

To keep every visit exciting, The Cupcake Factory features a variety of rotating daily themes, encouraging children to return for even more baking fun.

Young decorators can look forward to creating:

  • Animal-inspired cupcakes
  • Soccer and World Cup-themed treats
  • Cartoon-inspired cupcake designs
  • Mini cake decorating masterclasses
  • Icing mixing lessons
  • Seasonal baking creations

Each activity has been designed to inspire imagination while introducing children to basic decorating techniques in a fun and engaging way.

Baking with Kindness

One of the workshop’s most meaningful features is its focus on giving back to the community.

Every participating child receives two cupcakes to decorate.

One cupcake is theirs to enjoy and take home, while the second is donated to help bring a smile to a child in need.

Throughout the activation, donated cupcakes will be collected each day and delivered to a local children’s home, charity organisation or hospital.

The initiative encourages young participants to experience the joy of sharing while learning that even a small act of kindness can make a meaningful difference.

More Than Just a School Holiday Activity

The Cupcake Factory has been created to offer families a memorable holiday experience that combines entertainment, creativity and valuable life lessons.

According to the shopping centre, the activation aims to inspire children not only through baking but also by encouraging generosity and compassion.

“The Cupcake Factory has been created to give families something fun and memorable to enjoy together during the school holidays, while also encouraging creativity and kindness. We hope children leave not only proud of what they have made, but excited by the opportunity to brighten someone else’s day too,” said the centre manager.

Book Your Spot Early

Tickets for The Cupcake Factory: The Little Bakers Workshop are available through Quicket, and families are encouraged to secure their places early as each session has limited capacity.

With delicious treats, colourful decorations, creative activities and an opportunity to give back, Vincent Park is serving up one of East London’s sweetest family experiences this school holiday season.

Whether your little one dreams of becoming a baker or simply loves getting creative in the kitchen, The Cupcake Factory offers the perfect recipe for fun, learning and unforgettable memories.
